Fasting

It's all still a bit new to me although it's going well. Lots of fruit and veg.

Talk about keeping regular!

When I fast, I use juice, sugar drinks, tomato-veg juice and water. It always brings me closer to God however I sometimes get an upset stomach too.

Fasting is good and good for you.

Of course as a year round vegan, I can definitly shout the benefits of fruits and veggies...

Beans and toast - another thing that gets me bye (and doesn't leave me with protein deficiency headaches.)

May I suggest a wild grains Tempeh with Pasta. Also soycheese (Vegan Gourmet brand Nacho flavor is my fav) used to make an old american standby, MacnCheese. Its a little bargain basement for my normally refined culinary tastes, but working 60+ hours a week, sometimes just anything will do.

I also generally survive, with my bloodsugar problems, on Twizzlers (a type of licorice) and potatoe chips.

Steam an onion in with your neeps and tatties, and pray for me, a sinner.

Best wishes,

Just to let you guys know, there's a big candle that will burn for a week, burning for Michael and Ian at St. Demetrios' Church near Philadelphia. Many Years to you both!

Sorry, folks. I'm still here and not dead, I promise! Leetle M, thanks you for your prayers and the sentiment. :-)

Yikes! I didn't even know about our own Joe being "cremated" too!

Many Years to you all! And Michael, I know all too well what the music is like without your voice.... we had just the men sing yesterday "Receive me today" and they were great, but all of them were =there=! When even one is not there, the choir sounds really thin!

You go, guys! Many years!
